We’re looking for a Mobile Lead with expert experience in either iOS or Android development with a good working knowledge of the other platform. The ideal candidate is passionate about development as well as design, and UX. We need elegant solutions to the most complex challenges. You’re armed with experience crafting applications and leading mobile developers. You will build out our mobile practice and strategy, hiring and developing developers.

Experience:

7+ years experience in professional Mobile development

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with a collaborative, agile development team consisting of Product Designers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Web and Back End Developers

  • Major contributor to a state of the art, mobile application for both iOS and Android users

  • Building and maintaining our SDK

  • Building out and leading our mobile development team

  • Contribute scalable software artifacts that are easy to understand and simple to maintain

  • Be our accessibility advocate for mobile users

  • Actively work to produce responsive lightweight code

  • Working with Customer Success and our customers in integrating with their Apps

Requirements

  • Experience working with mobiles applications at large scale

  • Experience building SDKs

  • Professional Experience and/or Knowledge of Java, Kotlin, Swift/SwiftUI, Objective-C

  • Opinionated on mobile development frameworks and tools

  • Expertise in managing multiple OS version and supporting older versions

  • Expertise with Apple and Google App store deployments

  • Experience with responsive mobile development for mobile devices

  • Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 and AODA conformance criteria

  • Expertise in mobile debugging, triaging and performance testing

  • Experience using RESTful APIs

Nice to haves

  • Mobile App portfolio on Apple store and/or Google AppStore

  • Knowledge of Firebase, NativeScript, Flutter/Dart, HTML5

  • Contributions to open source or personal projects

  • Knowledge of Content Delivery Networks

  • Experience in Design or UX
